Winemaking Notes
Block 1 Pinot Noir was planted in 2001 to 3.5 acres of clones 667 and 115. This vineyard resides on well-drained, gravelly, loamy soils on one of the coldest sites on High Serenity Ranch.
Tasting Notes
The longer, cooler growing season of 2005 ripened the fruit later than typical vintages, and because of a very small crop, the grapes produced intense fruit concentration, excellent color extraction and good acidity.
