Winemaking Notes
The home ranch on the western side of High Valley has been known as High Serenity Ranch for over one hundred years. Our 2006 Pinot Grigio comes from the original 10 acre vineyard and our 40 acre vineyard, planted in 2003. Both of these vineyards are comprised of gravelly loams, and are some of the coolest growing conditions in High Valley.
Tasting Notes
The 2006 Pinot Grigio emits a dazzling forward bouquet of orange blossom, vanilla bean extract, pineapple and Bartlett pears. The ripe fruit offers flavors of the same luscious fruit while, at the same time, remaining crisp with balanced acidity, medium body, and lingering finish.
