Winemaking Notes
Our twelve and a half acre block of Merlot is planted on the benches of the western hills of High Valley. The soils are of the Manzanita Series known for their excellent drainage and low vigor potential which translates into wines of intense concentration of fruit character and flavor development.
Tasting Notes
Our Merlot encompasses black cherry aromas with hints of cola nut, cedar and a faint note of sage. This medium-bodied wine has good breadth across the palate and a light touch of oak to add complexity and mouth feel. The long finish completes this well-balanced elegant wine.
