Our lands may be raw and remote, but we sustain them with hands-on care.
Born Of Necessity
Given our remote location, sustainability is not optional; it’s critical. Sustainability refers to the capacity to cultivate, thrive and repeat without depleting our precious natural resources. We diligently apply this timeless philosophy to our farming practices to support healthy soils, low yields, and constant attention in growing the finest estate-grown wine grapes possible for generations to come.
A commitment to sustainability extends to every detail of the approach at Brassfield Estate. Many building materials found in the construction of our winery and visitor center have been re-purposed and re-used. All water used in the winegrowing and winemaking process is recaptured and recycled. We strive to utilize every precious raindrop that falls on our property.
The extent of our commitment to sustainability demonstrates that, to us, sustainability is critical.
