2010 Proprietary White Wine

Serenity

Purchase This Product

The 2010 vintage marks the debut of David Ramey as our winemaker, whose wines of balanced expression have made him one of the most renowned and influential winemakers in America today.

VINEYARDS

Our home ranch on the westside of High Valley Appellation has been know as “High Serenity Ranch” for over one hundred years, lending the namesake to our expressive proprietary white wine. The vineyard blocks producing fruit for Serenity are comprised of gravelly loams from some of the coolest sites within Lake County. The lower temperatures on the valley floor allow for longer hang-time enhancing flavor development and acid retention in the juice and finished wine.

WINEMAKING

At Brassfield Estate, our winemaking emphasizes quality and the use of traditional hand crafted techniques, to create wines that have both style and finesse. The wine was fermented in small lots using native yeast and only the best lots were chosen to create the 2010 Serenity.

TASTING NOTES

The 2010 Serenity boasts distinctive aromas of mangoes, pineapples and key lime pie with flavors of Bartlett pears, citrus, and honeydew melon that linger in your mouth. Crisp, fresh acidity, with a touch of sweetness, makes Serenity a terrific match to spicy Asian dishes or simply to enjoy a glass by itself on a warm summer evening.
