Our wines reflect the distinctiveness and diversity of their sites – from the elevated valley floor of High Serenity Ranch to the raw and remote Volcano Ridge Vineyard. David Ramey produced, family-owned, and estate-grown. Brassfield Estate wines are fruit-driven, balanced and delicious.
It evokes aromas of date pudding, black plums, mission figs, and licorice. The wine’s rich flavors show chocolate, Fig Newton cookies, cedar, and baking spices.
Volcano Ridge Vineyard is located on the steep slopes of an extinct cinder cone at 2,200
feet above sea level on the eastern end of High Valley. The pure volcanic soils are ideal for
vine stress, restricting crop yields, and making wine that has both intensity and elegance.
The 2006 Zinfandel Elevado is a fortified dessert wine made in the style of port from
Portugal. The brandy used in the fortification was made from our estate-grown zinfandel
by the world-renowned artisan distillers of Germain Robin.
