Tasting Notes
This wine has complex aromas of passion fruit, honeysuckle, and peach blossom that intertwine with the flavors of fresh apricots and Bartlett pears. The residual sugar is well balanced with the acidity, leading to a long, smooth finish.
Vineyard Notes
The fruit for our Riesling comes from a single vineyard block on the valley floor of our High
Serenity Vineyard. This block is comprised of gravelly, sandy loams and is located in one of
the coolest vineyard sites in all of Lake County. The grapes were hand harvested at night
and processed using minimal handling.
Other Notes
The wine derives its name from Proprietor Jerry Brassfield's wife, SuSan, and her passion for Late Harvest Riesling.
