Perched at 2100 ft. above sea level, on the western slopes of High Valley, lies Monte Sereno vineyard. This vineyard has a combination of elevation, north-facing vines, and unique soil composition, creating a microclimate that stresses the vines, limiting grape yields. This translates into a focused wine with concentrated and intense varietal fruit characteristics.
Our 2019 Zinfandel was harvested in September, crushed, and transferred to stainless tanks for fermentation. To showcase the fruit and structure of this wine, it was aged in 10% new American oak and 90% neutral oak barrels for 24 months. Our Estate Zinfandel was lightly fined and bottled without filtration.
